Checkout the newest issue of Scientific America. They have a great article on flavors connecting ingredients in recipes. In western cuisine it is common to connect similar flavors while in East Asian cuisine there are few overlapping flavors.

I was trying for a design that was warm and personable. The mealmentor.com website is built to help optimize meal planning for individuals and families. Helping them to explore new menus, meet daily needs for nutrition while sticking to a budget. Family recipes can be added to meal plans as well as dietary restrictions to limit recipes used in meal planning. More info to come....
